Bob, thanks to a special filter holder, connects directly to the tap and it works only thanks to water pressure, without the need for electricity or batteries.
FAQ
BOB Working
How does Bob function?Connecting Bob connect to the faucet is very simple: only the first time you use it, you have to unscrew the filter holder of your tap and replace it with the filter holder supplied in the package. After mounting the filter, Bob can be connected to the tap simply and in a few seconds each time you want. The replacement of the filter holder of your faucet with the one supplied in the box should be done ONLY the first time you connect Bob. In fact, the Bob filter which remains mounted to the faucet while maintaining intact the aesthetics, allows both to use the tap normally, aerating and filtering the water. It is necessary to mount Bob simply and quickly, making it possible to use it all the time that you want, in comfort and without complicated mounting procedures. For more details, see the page "How to use Bob."
The Bob filter system fits all taps with standard filter that can be unscrewed (CEN standard EN 246), both with internal and external thread. This standard is respected by more than 99% of taps (sink or bidet) with filters that can be unscrewed on the market.
There are also adapters for non-standard taps.
Bob requires a low water pressure to work. Bob is fitted with a valve that automatically downloads in the basin the water pressure in excess, thus allowing to have a flow of water never excessive. In addition, during the lavage you can start or stop the water flow through the handle with built-in controller.
Bob does not require any special maintenance if not that, once finished to use it, you should clean all the dirty parts. For a more thorough cleaning of the end of the pipe (the one that gets more dirty) you can unscrew it from the rest of the unit thanks to the fitting. Bob does not fear limestone and also the quality of the materials used and the absence of electric motors, are long-lasting. Any accumulations of limestone after months or years on the filter, can be removed with the use of a normal anti-scale (necessary even for tap filters).
No, rather it is a proof of the proper functioning of the valve that automatically downloads in the basin the water pressure in excess. If you want to decrease the leakage of water just slightly decrease the pressure directly from the tap but this is not necessary for a proper functioning.
